Positive Education is grounded in Positive Psychology and educational research, focusing on promoting optimal wellbeing and character development for students and teachers alike. We are a preschool committed to implementing research-based practices shown to increase happiness. We believe the following elements of our program inspire the art of flourishing: valuing creativity as a form of communication, identifying positive character strengths, daily gratitude practices including savoring positive emotions, cultivating positive relationships, maximizing engagement, interacting and learning about nature, promoting emotional regulation, and practicing yoga and mindfulness.
